Main course

The Main Course offers “state of art” innovative themes:

• Piezoelectric Implantology
• Orthodontic Microsurgery

The program pertaining to implants, is a pragmatic structure enabling every participant to acquire the new procedures based on the techniques of microsurgery bone Implants. THE ULTRASONIC PREPARATION COURSE OF THE IMPLANT SITE reduces surgical risks, which increases the level of clinical quality in terms of prosthetic results and the patient’s. The theoretical part of the course introduces new concepts to optimize the achievement of primary and secondary stability. The practical part consists in learning the clinical protocol developed by Tomaso Vercellotti that is based on the strict management of medical records that helps you make the most of the anatomical features of each patient. The Surgical Technique Implant Site Preparation is described step-by-step and is practiced by each participant on animal bones.

The course teaches how to place implants in the presence of sufficient and insufficient bone volume and how to simplify management of complex cases. The hands-on program emphasizes various types of crest defects, with reduced bone volume and is presented in the Master's courses, with a printed study for each technique.

The ORTHODONTIC MICROSURGERY PROGRAM is structured on a critical review of orthodontic literature, that highlights the limits of traditional dental movement in an adult patient. It presents the different techniques of Surgical Dentistry.

Dr. T. Vercellotti and Dr. A. Podestà guide you through the new techniques of Orthodontic Microsurgery. This teaches the participant,the details of diagnostic protocol in orthodontic surgery and related surgical techniques. The practical part includes corticotomy techniques on animal bones and dressing models indirectly.
